Conclusion
If you can learn these chords and some of these songs using these chords, you’ll be suprised how many more songs you can learn in a short amount of time! Pro level secret: most songs use the same chords in different combinations and with different strumming patterns (many of the strumming patterns repeat themselves also)!
Great post! So when I started playing guitar years ago, Paperback Writer was the very first song I learned. I can still remember how accomplished I felt, even though it was just a couple basic chords. So true that if you can learn just a few of these songs then you can basically play literally 1000’s of songs just using a different combination and strumming pattern. People make playing guitar way more difficult than it needs to be, myself included. So how long have you been teaching?
